WBE to Host World Leaders on Women's Rights

Seattle, WA -- On Thursday, October 14th, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., business leaders from throughout the world will converge at The University of Washington Law School, William H. Gates Hall, Room 138 in Seattle, Washington. The public is invited to get first-hand information from this unique, U.S. Embassy endorsed event focused on human rights and its economics. Attendees will also meet world leaders including Ambassador John R. Miller, Advisor to Secretary of State Colin Powell on human trafficking. This event costs $10, and is part of an intensive, 2-week business and cultural exchange among business leaders from Estonia, Lithuania, and the Puget Sound area.

"This is the first time business owners can meet with world leaders on the subject of economics and human rights," said Christina Bruning, Executive Director, and national recipient of the 21 Leaders For The 21st Century. “The power of this program will be continued in 2005 in Estonia.”

The annual "Women's Rights are Human Rights" is hosted by Women's Business Exchange, A Business and Cultural Exchange for women that also offers mentorship programs. Established in 1999, Women's Business Exchange serves business owners across cutltures.
